Geophysical Society at USC - Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) Student Chapter
The Geophysical Society at the University of South Carolina (GS-USC) is a student chapter of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). It was chartered in 2004 and spans broad interests in Geosciences at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Members routinely participate in a variety of competitions, meetings, workshops, outreach events, and other shared learning experiences. GS-USC received the "Summit" ranking within SEG in 2015 for their outstanding activities.
ESRI-SC has teammed up with GS-USC in various projects over the years, including, co-teaching the "SEISMIC REFLECTION PROCESSING Short Course" at the Geological Society of America Southeastern Section · 65th Annual Meeting 31 March–1 April, 2016.
