Mark Evans
joined ESRI-USC in April 2001 as a GIS
Technician with the Natural Resource
Conservation Service, GIS Decision Support
System project.
He graduated from the University of
Oklahoma with a B.BA., majoring in Economics
(1985).
Responsibilities
at ESRI have included the digitization of
agricultural fields in Dillon County, data
acquisition and conversion for geodatabase
development, and assisting in research on
the development of an erosion predictive
model.
His primary responsibility is the
technical transfer of GIS technology to NRCS
Field Office Personnel and helping with
technical support calls. Additionally, he
has responsibilities in the deployment of
the AFO Wizard tool and in assisting NRCS
Field Office Personnel with the development
of Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans.
